Today I am finding anything to do to excuse me from the hard labour of recycling clay. My new turquoise tin glaze is proving popular at No 5 Interiors, and more tin white bowls are planned after the first small batch turned out to have a lovely grey tinge over the iron of the terra cotta. I am also working on more tiles with this white glaze, and am happy to hear that Jane White's fantastic Shepherd's Hut at her Farm near Henley-on-Thames now has my new tiles in the kitchen area. This beautiful and comfortable hut, together with the immaculately restored gypsy caravan and log loo, forms part of a heavenly getaway. Web link to follow....
